What is Soccer Without Borders?
Soccer Without Borders runs community-led, year-round youth development programs in under-served areas in the USA and abroad. Using the powerful media of soccer and life-skills education, our activities help young people come into a greater understanding of their bodies, voices, and minds, and encourage them to make healthy choices for their futures.
Where is Soccer Without Borders?
We work with under-served youth throughout the world who, due to a complex variety of social and economic factors, lack access to quality sport and educational opportunities. We currently have programs and camps in seven US cities (Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Greeley, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland) and three countries (El Salvador, Nicaragua, Uganda) as well as past projects in Argentina, Egypt, Guatemala, South Africa, and Zambia.
What are We Supporting?
The 4th Annual SWB Small Goals, Big Change Tournament will continue to support the SWB programs domestically and abroad. In particular, the event has played a key role in sustaining SWB's T.E.A.M. Granada (Nicaragua), which aims to empower girls to meet their potential personally, athletically, and in their communities and SWB NYC, which works with local refugee youth..
Central Park Rangers Football Club, located in the heart of NYC, is excited to continue its partnership with SWB through this event!
